This piece completes the initial trilogy, focusing on Netanyahu, whose long political tenure is synonymous with the enduring complexities of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and controversial military actions. The artist disrupts his strongman persona by portraying him in prayerful tears beneath the solemn, hopeful blue Hebrew phrase, “אין מלחמה” (No War).

The artwork is a visual inquiry: Does the initiator of war carry the weight of countless innocent lives? By focusing on the leader’s vulnerability, Time Lin asserts that war is a demonic force, and only the Buddha-nature (compassion) can subdue its arrogance. The work is an artistic act of faith—a bold vision that the leader, moved by the infinite mercy of the Dharma, might lay down the sword (xia fang tu dao, li di cheng fo) and choose the path of peace. It is a powerful call to believe in redemption and the possibility of change at the highest levels of power.
